Protecting Our Oceans

Marine invertebrates face growing threats from ocean acidification, plastic pollution, and habitat destruction. Butterfly Pavilion is committed to educating visitors about the vital role these animals play in ocean ecosystems and the actions we can all take to protect them.

Our Science & Conservation team participates in horseshoe crab research and partners with marine conservation organizations to support sustainable practices and habitat protection along coastlines worldwide.
